Join fellow Wharton SoCal members and Yale Alums in a joint South Bay bicycling event followed by lunch.

We will meet at the Manhattan Beach Pier at 10:00 a.m. and divide into 2 groups, cruisers (5 to 12 miles in 1.5 hours) and road biking enthusiasts (20 to 25 miles in 1.5 hours). Cruisers have 2 bike options: (1) bring your own or (2) rent one for $7 / hour or $21 / day at Funn Bunns, located one block up from the Manhattan Beach Pier (1116 Manhattan Avenue / 310.372.8500). Road cyclists should bring their own bike.

At 10:30 a.m., the cruisers will head south toward Redondo Beach along the strand and the road cyclists will hop on the road and bike up to Palos Verdes.

We will meet around noon in Manhattan Beach for lunch -- either bring your own picnic on the sand or venture into one of downtown Manhattan Beach restaurants.
