PennServesLA: The Midnight Mission

Connect with like-minded Los Angeles Penn alumni joining together to help those in need.

Over the next 12 months, Penn Serves LA will offer several volunteer opportunities to our local red and blue community. We have identified a myriad of deserving nonprofits around the city, whereby you and your family are welcome to serve Los Angeles the Quaker Way!

September 22, 2012
Help homeless to self-sufficiency. On September 22nd, we serve lunch at The Midnight Mission (TMM) in downtown LA. TMM provides transitioning opportunities for the homeless and their families with the goal of achieving self-sufficiency through counseling, education, training and job placement. Join us and serve a meal with empathy and respect to those on Skid Row. Children may participate but must be at least 54 inches tall.

Have a nonprofit that we could serve? We are excited to learn what other Penn alumni are doing to make this world a better place. Interested in the events above? Want to learn more? Please contact us at pennserves@gmail.com.

Sincerely,
Penn Serves LA Committee
