On behalf of the board of the SoCal Wharton Club and Penn Club we would like to invite you to the 9th Annual Summer Dinner Gala held on Thursday night August 9, 2012. Come join us for the 'South of the Border' theme on the beach and under the stars as we enjoy a welcome escape at a private beach club in Santa Monica. This is event is hosted every year to bring Wharton and Penn alumni, current students, incoming students, and faculty together to reconnect and rekindle old friendships, foster effective networking amongst our alumni population in the SoCal area, help promote membership of the club and all the great benefits it has, as well as to just relax and have some fun during a trying year. We've sold out the event for the past eight years, so buy your tickets now and join us for this years party!

Dinner: includes a South of the Border buffet  + 2 drinks + coffee/tea and dessert.  (Full menu below.)

Parking:  Parking is included at the Club with your ticket purchase. Additional details will be sent prior to the event.

Entertainment: We will also be adding the Island sounds of the Panjive Steel Drum Band to help foster an evening of fun and connections.

Drinks: Two drinks are included. Additional drinks are available at the event, wine/beer $5 or cocktails $8.  Or you buy advance tickets online for $5. Make sure to purchase them in addition to your ticket/membership.

Attire: Summer business casual. No shorts, t-shirts, or flip flops. Portions of the event will be in the sand area of the Club, so please bring something warm and wear shoes that will work in the sand. No cell phone usage or smoking allowed.

This event is heavily discounted to paid members of the Wharton Club of Southern California and Penn Club of Los Angeles (during the advanced ticket sale period). It's our way of saying thank you for supporting the Wharton and Penn Clubs. This event is only open to Wharton and Penn Alumni, students, and families.
