Speaker: Kaihan Krippendorff, author of “Outthink the Competition,” founder of Outthinker

Wharton grad Kaihan Krippendorff is the author of four business strategy books, most recently “Outthink the Competition: How a New Generation of Strategists Sees Options Others Ignore.” He is a regular lecturer at Wharton Executive Education and a popular Fastcompany.com blogger. Through his firm, Outthinker, Kaihan helps companies 
design strategies to thrive in an agile, digital, open, purpose-driven world.

He'll walk participants through a systematic process, outlined in his book, for designing a disruptive growth strategy. Clients include Microsoft, BNY Mellon, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, TIAA-CREF, United Technologies, and VMWare. He has also successfully applied the process to numerous mid-sized and smaller organizations with bold growth aspirations. On March 11, he will walk participants through a hands-on application of the key tools and steps of the process as participants generate new growth ideas.

Nobel Peace Prize winner Mohammad Yunus said "Kaihan shows that with a compelling idea, anyone can change the world," and that message has propelled Kaihan into one of the most sought-after strategy keynote speakers. He has been featured in Harvard Business Review, BusinessWeek, Fastcompany, Inc. Magazine, Fox Business, NPR, and other media outlets. 

He graduated from the Management Technology program with a BS in Finance from Wharton and a BS in Engineering for the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences 
at Penn. He holds a joint MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School and a doctorate in marketing and economics from Abo Akademie in Finland.
