C-Circle Format, Agenda, and Criteria

Become a member of an private discussion forum with other Wharton C-Level executives

This group meets every 6 weeks in a different location hosted by one of the participants.

General Notes

1. Each member must select a primary chapter (i.e. Orange County, Los Angeles).
2. Sessions are held every six weeks (OC and LA are staggered).
3. Participants may participate as a guest in one of the other chapters if they choose.
4. Periodically, there will be a joint dinner social, combining all chapters, with the member’s significant other invited.

Format & Agenda

6-6:30 General networking and refreshments. If a member has a specific “master topic”, that member should brief the moderator on the topic, which would be discussed later during the session.

6:30-6:45 Each member (1) identifies one issue or topic that they would like to discuss; (2) mentions one new event that has occurred in their business since the last session (or provides an update on an issue or prior event discussed); and (3) mentions whether they would like to have an in-depth discussion dissection of their issue or topic (“Master Topic”).

6:45-8:20 Moderator selects from submitted topics and facilitates discussion, allocating 30 to 45 minutes for a “Master Topic” if one is volunteered.

8:20-8:30pm Administrative matters.

8:30pm Adjourn.

C-Circle Admission Criteria:

1. C-level title (CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, etc.)
2. At least 10 employees
3. In business for at least 2-years or over $2 million in annual revenue
4. Restricted to Wharton alumni
5. Commitment to a primary group (OC or LA)
6. Submit bio
7. Admission Committee reviews, approves and removes (as required)
