Guest registration/check-in procedures

Guest Registration Procedure

1.    Pre-bought tickets: Ask if the attendee has pre-bought a ticket thru the website.  Check the person off on the list of pre-registered attendees that I will provide to you.
a.    If yes, then check off on the list and give the person a name tag to write in their name.
b.    If no, go to step 2

2.    Membership: Ask person if he/she is a member
a.    If yes, then checkoff against membership list and charge them member rate.
b.    If no, then ask if they would like to sign up for Wharton Club membership
i.    If yes, please give them a membership form to fill out.  Charge them for the membership and then charge them the discount member ticket price.
ii.    If no, charge them non-member rate

3.    Payment: Pay by cash, check or credit card
a.    If by cash or check, then straightforward.  Bring some change!
b.    If by credit card (Visa, MC, Amex only), please get the following information: business card, phone #, billing address, and credit card info (name, # and expiration date).
c.    Please keep a record of who paid and $ amounts.

4.    Name tag: After they have paid or registered, please give them a name tag to fill out and wear.

5.  Post event, send the checks, cash, and credit card info to Club's CFO for deposits and processing.  Also send the P/L statement for the event to CFO for records' reconciliation.
