Steve Medland, WG '02, is the Executive Vice President of the Club. In this role, he oversees the Orange County activities and is a part of the executive team that makes club decisions.
Steve is the brainchild of the past two years' successful Investment Outlook forums in Orange County. The events sold out with 130 attendees and featured experts from the commodities, bonds, real estate, and stock markets.
Steve is a co-founder and principal of TABR Capital Management, LLC, which is a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor based in Orange County. TABR manages approximately $150 million of client capital for more than 220 households nationwide. Prior to attending Wharton, Steve served as a submarine officer and nuclear engineer in the United States Navy. He also served as Department Head of Navy Officer Programs, and he currently holds the rank of lieutenant commander in the United States Naval Reserve.
Steve holds an MBA in Finance from Wharton and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering Systems from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York. He and his wife, Kim, live in Newport Beach, California with their baby daughter.
