Jerry Kornblau, WG '86, along with his team of 8+ volunteers, has brought fantastic events to the Orange County region in the past 2 years. Wtih over 500 Wharton Alumni in Orange County alone, Jerry saw an opportunity to build the Wharton network.

Jerry's first goal was to get Wharton Alumni together on a regular basis at networking breakfasts. Since those early days, the OC team has hosted wine tastings, hikes, C-Circle networking, happy hours and several well-attended speaker events on Real Estate, Investment Outlook, Buying & Selling a Business and Technology Futures. Many of these events are open to other professional groups and are co-marketed with the OC MBAs, a loose network of the leading MBA Alumni Clubs in Orange County.

When Jerry's team first got together to discuss events for the OC, there were only about 10 OC-based Wharton Alumni who attended events held in Los Angeles. In the last 2 years, over 130 Wharton alumni have attended events in Orange County and the OC database has grown to 500+.

Since receiving his MBA from Wharton in 1986, he worked for L.E.K. Consulting and has held Director and VP positions in Strategy, Marketing and Business Development for Epson, RiverOne and Lantronix. Jerry now runs his own consulting firm, Korsan Management Services, focused on strategy and new business development efforts for clients in the technology and consumer goods industries.
