Join the Wharton Environment and Climate Action Network (www.whartonecan.org) for a special tour of Altasea, the Ocean Economy accelerator at the Port of Los Angeles!

AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles is dedicated to accelerating scientific collaboration, advancing an emerging blue economy through business innovation and job creation, and inspiring the next generation, all for a more sustainable, just and equitable world.

Starting with a grant from the Annenberg Foundation and a $57 million capital investment from the Port of Los Angeles, AltaSea was created as a public-private ocean institute to join together the best and brightest in exploration, science, business and education.

We have a special opportunity to tour the facility and hear about the amazing projects underway that join research, technology, and entrepreneurship when it comes to the ocean and sustainability.
