Beyond Connections: Turn Alumni Networking Into A Lasting Advantage
A Live, Hands-On Workshop with Ronen Olshansky (Ferrazzi Greenlight / Connected Success)
Event Description
Most of us go to alumni mixers, holiday parties, or the occasional industry event — but too often leave without new opportunities or meaningful follow-ups. We know networking matters, yet the process can feel awkward, unstructured, and transactional.
On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, join fellow Wharton SoCal alumni for an interactive, hands-on workshop led by Ronen Olshansky. As CEO of Connected Success and part of the coaching firm, Ferrazzi Greenlight, Ronen works directly with Keith Ferrazzi, author of several NYTimes bestelling books on networking including Never Eat Alone. Ronen has coached hundreds of professionals and entrepreneurs to build purposeful, high-impact networks using the Beyond Connections system.
This isn’t another “sit and listen” evening. You’ll reflect on your mindset, practice new skills with peers, and walk away with tools you can take away to move the needle on your relationships.
You will learn and do:
- Reframe networking — go from awkward small talk to genuine relationship-building
- Bust common myths & limiting beliefs that hold people back (it’s not about charisma or being an extrovert)
- Practice your story so you can introduce yourself in a way that sparks interest and connection
- Learn to go deep not broad and other winning networking strategies
- Be systematic and understand how a system of regular, intentional habits would work in your life
You’ll leave with:
- A clear playbook — to guide you on who to reach out to and how to nurture those relationships
- New, real-time connections with fellow Wharton alumni
- Tools and frameworks to keep momentum beyond this event
