This is a brand new affinity group launched in February, 2022! The focus of this group will initially be on topics of interest to investors related to investing and investment management. Daniel Yearwood will lead this new effort.
Third Meeting Topic: As the Federal Reserve has embarked on a rate hiking cycle to tame inflation, a roughly 25% drawdown in the Nasdaq has some investors thinking the worst may be behind us. Given the reversal of liquidity conditions, cyclical economic slowdowns and ongoing geopolitical risks, some tail risk focused investors warn that what we have seen is only the beginning and the rest of this year could see a second, steeper leg of a broad market drawdown take place. Join us as we discuss some of the risks on the horizon and some of the potential tools investors could use to either mitigate or generate asymmetric payoffs over the coming quarters.
