The Other Art Fair is different from other art fairs and shows. It combines affordable and original artwork and 140 independent artists with immersive installations, performances, DJs – and a fully stocked bar. At TOAF, art is for everyone.
The fair is presented in partnership with SaatchiArt.com, the world’s leading online art gallery and brings together creative thinkers, progressive galleries and new art collectors looking for emerging talent and new art. The fair combines boundary-pushing yet affordable works of art with immersive installations, performances, food trucks and other activities for visitors to truly experience art. The Other Art Fair is a place where art feels accessible and not elite, where everyone fits in and norms are challenged.

The Artist
R.Tucker (Reginald Tucker WG '06) will be participating in The Other Art Fair LA for the fourth time. At the heart of his life and artistic journeys lies a profound passion for exploring uncharted territories and forging new paths.
In his artistic journey, Reggie has been quickly recognized for talent and ingenuity. He has showcased art at local exhibitions, like FRESH Art Exhibit and the Arts Council of Long Beach as well as The Other Art Fair LA in Santa Monica and in the Arts District in Culver City, including emerging galleries like Taylor Fine Art. He also solidified his reputation as an artist at the vanguard of contemporary creativity when selected for the Bit Basel sustainable art program during Art Basel 2022 where he showcased a digital art NFT series.
Inspired by the realms of both order and chaos, Reggie's artwork beautifully reflects a balanced fusion of left-brain and right-brain thinking. His pieces merge painting, sculpture, and found art in a variety of 'Series' and styles ranging from Cultural Commentary to Pop Art to Geometric Abstraction. An architect’s precision coexists with whimsical absurdity, inviting viewers to explore the depths of each composition. His new hybrid art form communicates through the use of subtle hidden messaging using the magazine pages themselves and blends traditional collaging with this new 3D collaging art form that transcends traditional boundaries and embraces the Avant Garde.
Through his Recycled Abstract platform [www.recycledabstract.com] viewers are invited on a journey of color, texture, and form where the words alongside the vibrant hues and captivating patterns within magazine pages become the perfect medium to communicate social and aesthetic messages.
