Event Overview

The Wharton SoCal is excited to host an exclusive, member-only event to tour PS, the private, luxury terminal at LAX. PS caters to high-end and VIP flyers, with amenities such as private TSA and Customs clearance, luxury spaces and suites, and private transfers to your flight or hotel.

 

PS CEO and Wharton alumna, Amina Belouizdad Porter (WG13), will talk us through the creation of the terminal and show us around the facilities.

 

Please bring a valid photo ID – you will need to show it at the host booth to be allowed entry.

When: Thursday, January 23rd, 7-9 pm. This event has been postponed!!

Where: The PS terminal at LAX. Directions will be provided in the confirmation email. There is valet parking on site.

Cost: This is a member only event. You are welcome to join the club, become a member, and register for the event. Ticket price is $10, or included if you purchase an annual membership. No guests. Only one ticket per member.

Space is limited, and registration will close on Jan 21 at 5 pm PST. We will need to submit full names of attendees to PS in advance of the event for security purposes.

CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT FOR VISITORS TO PS FACILITIES

In consideration for being admitted to PS facilities, I enter into this agreement with PS and its respective

affiliates and associates (collectively “Proprietors”).

  1. I understand that both the interior and exterior areas of PS are private property.
  2. I understand that unauthorized entry through this facility is a violation of Federal Law.
  3. I understand that photography and recording of any kind is prohibited on this property. A key and central element of PS service is that Members within the facility will be free from unwanted photography and other recordings of any kind.
  4. I attest that I am not a reporter, journalist, investigator or agent for any news media organization or agent.
  5. I attest that I am not visiting under any pretext.
  6. During my visit to the facilities, I agree that I will not make or remove any recordings, video, audio, or photographs.

This includes, but is not limited to, images made by camera, smart phone, video or audio, social media, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and any and all other method or means now known or yet to be invented (Collectively “Images”).

  1. I agree that I will not make available to any individuals or organizations any documents, photographs, publications, information about Proprietors’ confidential facility, or other materials which come into my possession or over which I have control as a result of my being admitted to PS facilities.
  2. I understand that the safety and wellbeing of many people would be adversely affected by disclosures about features and/or operations of PS facilities.
  3. I agree to refrain from using any information which I acquire in the course of my association with Proprietors for any personal or commercial purposes at any time in the future.
  4. I understand that violators of this agreement will be held liable to Proprietors and/or, their employees, and their clients and Members, to the fullest extent allowed by law. I further understand that actual or threatened breaches of this agreement shall entitle Proprietors to seek an injunction restraining me from such conduct or pursuits which I have, by entering PS facility, agreed not to undertake.
  5. I agree to notify Proprietors immediately in the event that I am urged by any representative of any foreign government, political or extremist organization, competing firm or individual, member of the media, or any person whatsoever to disclose any information about the Proprietors or their clients or Members, or to otherwise violate this agreement. 
  6. Should any portion of this agreement be found void or voidable, invalid, improper or in violation of public policy, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.

Monisha Toteja G’09 WG09

Monisha Toteja is the CEO of Dynamic Speaking, where she advises, coaches, and speaks about communication challenges at work. She has over 20 years of professional experience, and focuses on empowering executives and rising stars to communicate effectively. She works across industries to assist leaders in improving their executive presence, confidence, and strategic communication, including navigating difficult situations, engaging key stakeholders, and creating a pitch for investors or clients. Monisha taught communication at The Wharton School for eight years and is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council. She holds an MBA in Management from The Wharton School, an MA in International Studies from The Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in German Studies from Duke University. Monisha speaks German fluently, Hindi conversationally, and has a basic knowledge of Spanish. Monisha is Co-President and a Board member for The Wharton Club of Southern California.

Alissa Finerman WG98

Alissa Finerman is an Executive Coach and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. She is a Facilitator/Guide for Chief, a private women’s network, and coaches teams, executives, managers and entrepreneurs. She is on the Executive Coaching team for the Wharton Executive MBA program and has guest lectured for several universities. Alissa was a VP on the Corporate Bond Sales Desk at Credit Suisse (now UBS) before she founded her Leadership Consulting & Coaching company. She is an angel investor (focused on impact and supporting women founders), advisor and author of the book, Living in YOUR Top 1%. Alissa is Co-President and a Board member for The Wharton Club of Southern California and holds an MBA from The Wharton School.
