The Wharton SoCal women’s network and Chicago Booth are excited to host a special event focusing on AI and applications in the workplace and our lives. We will explore the AI landscape with insights from three experienced professionals in the field. We will discuss how AI can be used to increase productivity and efficiency, how AI is being used by companies to streamline processes and create new opportunities and also explore AI from a VC perspective.
We hope to have an interactive conversation and will take questions from the group.
Snacks will be served.
The event will be moderated by Lauren Cantor. Panelists include Tina Djenge and Elsa Mou.
Event flow:

When: Saturday, March 22nd, 3-5 pm.
Where: The event will be held at a private home in Santa Monica. The address will be shared on the registration confirmation.
Cost: Member price is $10. Guest price and non-members is $20.

Tina’s deep domain knowledge in AI, combined with her leadership experience in both corporate and startup environments, fuels her passion for empowering leaders to leverage AI solutions for transformative, sustainable growth.

Lauren Cantor is a Senior Partner at NextAccess, where she specializes in AI education, implementation and enterprise innovation. A multidisciplinary strategist with over 25 years of experience, she combines expertise in artificial intelligence, business strategy, and design thinking. Lauren currently serves as Associate Professor at both ArtCenter College of Design and the School of Visual Arts, where she teaches courses on innovation, entrepreneurship, and AI integration. She also runs her own creative consulting agency, Field & Edge, advising global brands on business model innovation. Previously, she held executive positions at UBS Securities, JP Morgan and MF Global, where she managed global teams and billion-dollar portfolios. Lauren holds an MBA from The Wharton School, an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts (where she served as Milton Glaser's design assistant), and a BA in Astrophysics from Columbia University.

Alissa Finerman is an Executive Coach and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. She is a Facilitator/Guide for Chief, a private women’s network, and coaches teams, executives, managers and entrepreneurs. She is on the Executive Coaching team for the Wharton Executive MBA program and has guest lectured for several universities. Alissa was a VP on the Corporate Bond Sales Desk at Credit Suisse (now UBS) before she founded her Leadership Consulting & Coaching company. She is an angel investor (focused on impact and supporting women founders), advisor and author of the book, Living in YOUR Top 1%. She holds an MBA from The Wharton School and is a Board member for The Wharton Club of Southern California.
