We've added a special summer date to our Entrepreneur Series to host Daniel Smith W'86, Founder of JimmyCase. Come hear how he's parlayed a career as a TV executive into a successful consumer products business owner. Includes parking and breakfast at Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach.
Daniel Smith W'86, Founder JimmyCase
Daniel Smith launched jimmyCASE in 2014 with a successful Kickstarter. jimmyCASE is a 100% California product, assembled by hand in East Los Angeles, featuring custom elastic fabric bands and mahogany wood, sourced locally. Prior to launching jimmyCASE, Dan (W ’86) was a TV production/development executive in Hollywood with Fox, Playboy and American Gladiators. Dan has applied everything he learned at Wharton and in Hollywood to build a lean enterprise with great Southern California branding and worldwide distribution. Dan is super-excited to be building a successful online brand with just-in-time manufacturing in Los Angeles and direct-distribution from factory to customers worldwide.
jimmyCASE
After a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign, we began hand making our iPhone wallet cases in a cool factory in East Los Angeles. We distribute directly to customers throughout the world and through cool retailers like AT&T’s Flagship Store in Chicago and Fred Segal in Tokyo, Japan. jimmyCASE features a high performance pocket which holds 6 cards & cash and will never stretch out, a real mahogany core and is handmade in the USA.
This event is SOLD OUT.
