HOMELESSNESS IN LA: INNOVATION IN HOUSING - TINY HOMES VILLAGE TOUR

HBS Association of Southern California invites members and non-members of The Wharton Club of Southern California to join them for this special event.  ONLY 15 total spaces are available, so the first 15 to rsvp and pay (including those from HBS) will be confirmed for participation.

Nancy Hammerman (HBS PMD’69), Senior VP, Sutton Capital Partners and board member of Safe Parking LA, invites you to tour a Tiny Homes Village with CEO and founder, Ken Craft of Hope of the Valley. Solving homelessness requires innovative solutions---come see and learn more about these brightly colored structures that can be put up in just one hour at a cost of $55,000. The Tiny Homes villages serve unhoused men and women in and around Los Angeles neighborhoods. This is an opportunity for people to have temporary living space they can call their own and that offers a safe and stable option before moving on to permanent housing.
