How AI will replace entire roles, teams, and companies across the business spectrum and how it will change everything you do
To reach one million users, it took:
- Netflix 41 months
- Twitter 24 months
- Facebook 10 months
- Instagram 2.5 months
It took AI app ChatGPT 5 days to reach 1M users. Funded by Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Reid Hoffman, and Jessica Livingston, OpenAI (the parent company of ChatGPT) has already exceeded a valuation of $29B.
The age of AI has landed, bringing artificial intelligence out of the research lab and into the hands of all to use, no coding necessary. AI will be a trillion dollar industry in coming years and the applications are immediate.
ChatGPT is publicly available and can do any of the following (and more) using only user requests in everyday English:
- Answer complex search questions where it finds, synthesizes, and summarizes data from different sources across the internet
- Draft a land acquisition contract for the state of Wyoming that incorporates all user prompted details
- Answer customer queries with nuanced replies
- Write the marketing copy for an online ad for a new energy drink that features all natural flavors
- Write a children's story that incorporates dragons, Mars, and race cars
- Design and code fully operational apps based on user requests
