Penn Club of Los Angeles Presents
Penn Serves: Volunteer with Friends of the LA River
Celebrate Earth Month by giving back to nature!
Join Friends of the LA River, California Native Plant Society, and San Fernando Valley Audubon Society for a Habitat Restoration & Earth Month celebration!
Roll up your sleeves to help remove invasive mustard, water native plants, and clear litter all while learning why restoring California’s native ecosystems is so important.
After the restoration work, you're welcome to join an optional guided nature walk led by the San Fernando Valley Audubon Society (binoculars provided!) and explore educational booths hosted by community partners.
Make a difference, connect with nature, and celebrate Earth Month with us!
Wear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Also, long sleeve shirt and long pants are recommended
Tools: Gloves and weeding tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!
Age: All ages welcome. Adult supervision required for children.
