Sing Ling
The Wharton Club of Southern California Orange County invites all members and non-members to join us for an Orange County Happy Hour at The Lobby Lounge at The Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach. Come unwind after work and relax and reconnect with old and meet new friends. Young alumni (W'19 and WG19 and later) most welcome. Enjoy a drink or two while soaking in the iconic Laguna Beach views from this iconic hotel and resort.
About the venue
Montage Laguna Beach embodies an understated elegance that is perfect for an oceanside resort. Accommodations – which include rooms, suites and villas – sport simplistic, coastal decor, along with amenities like balconies, marble bathrooms and serene water views. The unique Mosaic Pool is at the heart of the property and features a whirlpool, a children's pool and play area, and poolside cabanas. Meanwhile, the on-site spa provides rejuvenating treatments like the Laguna Beach facial and the sunrise sunset massage. The concierge can arrange for adventure-seeking travelers to get their adrenaline fix with surfing, snorkeling or sailing excursions. As for dining, The Loft dishes out American cuisine all day, and poolside dining is available at the Mosaic Bar and Grille. She has worked at renowned branding agencies both in the United States and China, focusing on serving Fortune 500 brands in the consumer goods and entertainment sectors. Her extensive professional background encompasses a diverse range of marketing disciplines, including but not limited to growth marketing, branding, design, content strategy, and creative development
Omar Shaikh WG22
Omar is a seasoned technology professional with over 12 years of experience. His background includes product management, technology consulting, and enterprise sales. He is currently a Customer Solutions Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) supporting Pharma/Life Science clients. Omar holds an MBA from Wharton and a BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy (West Point). When he is not working, you can find him playing with his dogs or enjoying an OC beach.
