Wharton OC 2022 Summer Dinner
The Wharton Club of Southern California invites all paid Wharton or Penn alumni members and non-paid Wharton or Penn alumni members and their guests to the Wharton OC 2022 Summer Dinner at Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach, CA. Since it has been 3 years since we have held this event, everyone is excited to reconnect and share a catered dinner on the poolside terrace overlooking the golf course. Come meet old friends and make some new ones. Catered buffet dinner and one drink ticket are included in the ticket price; additional drink tickets may be purchased from the host for an additional charge at the event; no host bar. Plan to stay after dinner as the sun sets to sit around the fire pit and share a story or two with your new friends. Self parking in front of the club is free; valet parking available for an additional charge and is not included in the ticket price.

Where: Big Canyon Country Club, One Big Canyon Drive, Newport Beach, CA 92660. THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT on the terrace above the pool overlooking the golf course behind the club.
What: Wharton OC 2022 Summer Dinner
Who: All paid members and non-paid members of The Wharton Club of Southern California and their guest. Limit 1 guest per alumni member. Each attendee must have a paid ticket.
Cost: NO EARLY BIRD PRICING FOR THIS EVENT.
Paid Wharton or Penn Alumni Members, $85.00 PER PERSON. Limit 1 Guest, $85.00 PER PERSON. Both member and member's guest must have a paid ticket.
Non-Paid Wharton or Penn Alumni Members, $105.00 PER PERSON. Limit 1 Guest, $105.00 PER PERSON. Both non-member and non-member's guest must have a paid ticket.
RESTRICTION: This event is an annual event for Wharton and Penn alumni and their families. We welcome spouses, faculty, recent alumni, new admits and their families. Thank you for your understanding.
Attire: Business casual. No jeans, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, flip flops, or sandals please. Temperatures drop after sunset so plan accordingly.
Cellphone and Electronic Equipment Guidelines: To preserve the social and recreational character of the Club, and out of respect for members and their guests, the use of hand held electronic devices including tablet PCs and electronic reading devices is permissible throughout the clubhouse, so long as they are used in silent mode. Wi-Fi access is generally available throughout the clubhouse and recreation facilities. Use of any communication devices in an audible mode is restricted to the parking lot and adjacent sidewalks or phone booths in the Men’s and Women's Locker Rooms. Out of respect for members and their guests, the use of cellular or digital portable phones is not permitted on the golf course or golf practice facilities.
Directions: From MacArthur Boulevard, take San Joaquin Hills Road west to the first signal (Big Canyon East Gate). Turn right into club entrance and move into the left lane, stopping at the guardhouse. Tell them you are going to The Club and proceed to the left and downhill, then left into the main lot and left again along the front of the club to self parking. The pool terrace is accessed from the walkway to the far left of the main club building and to the right of the fitness center. Pass the pool on your left and up three steps to the terrace with bar to the left and fire pit to the right.
