Demystifying AI: Quick Wins for the Modern Professional
Wharton SoCal Women's Event
The Wharton SoCal Women's Network is excited to host a special AI women's event with Lauren Cantor, former Wall Street executive turned "AI Mixologist," for an electrifying 60-minute interactive session that transforms AI from intimidating buzzword to practical business superpower.
Drawing on her unique blend of 20 years of financial markets expertise and cutting-edge design innovation, Lauren will guide us through powerful AI applications that deliver immediate results. From crafting compelling content in your authentic brand voice and supercharging sales outreach, to conducting lightning-fast market research and simulating high-stakes executive conversations, you'll discover how today's most powerful multimodal tools can revolutionize your workflows within weeks, not months.
Whether you're an AI skeptic or early adopter, this interactive session cuts through the complexity to reveal practical applications that work. You'll engage in an open discussion designed to assess your specific needs and identify the highest-impact AI opportunities for your unique professional context. This isn't theory. It's the kind of collaborative, cohort-style training that generates actionable use cases and priority focus areas through hands-on learning, with ample time for questions, exploration, and personalized guidance to ensure you leave with concrete applications ready to implement tomorrow morning.
Session format prioritizes open dialogue, live demonstrations based on participant interests, and extensive Q&A to ensure maximum relevance and practical application.
We hope you will join us for a special and insightful session.

About the Speaker

Lauren Cantor WG98, Wharton SoCal Board Member
Lauren Eve Cantor helps executives understand how AI changes the fundamental questions about value creation. Her unconventional path from Columbia astrophysics to managing billion-dollar trading operations at UBS and MF Global, then graduating as valedictorian from SVA's MFA program as Milton Glaser's assistant, provides a unique perspective on pattern recognition in complex systems.
Through her consultancy Field + Edge, she works at the intersection of business design, data, and culture. She worked on several books on business model innovation at Strategyzer and teaches Innovation and Entrepreneurship at ArtCenter College of Design and the School of Visual Arts. She publishes "Verses Over Variables," cutting through AI hype to focus on what matters for business strategy.
