Gabriella Sherman WG16
Dr. Gabriella Sherman is the Chief Medical Officer at HCA Los Robles Health System. In her role, she has oversight of all quality, regulatory, patient safety and medical staff operations, including during the COVID pandemic. Prior to joining Los Robles, Dr. Sherman was the Vice President of Quality and Clinical Operations at Huntington Hospital and previously served as the Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency program and the Designated Institutional Officer at Huntington Hospital. Since joining HCA, Dr. Sherman has launched 4 graduate medical education programs with plans to expand to more than 150 residency positions at Los Robles by 2024. She serves as a member of the HCA Transformation Advisory Board, focused on revolutionizing the healthcare delivery system in partnership with leading technology companies. In her spare time, Dr. Sherman enjoys activities with her husband and 3 children. She supports her community as a board member for the March of Dimes and chairs the Mission Impact Committee. Recently, Dr. Sherman completed her executive leadership coaching certification at UC Berkeley and is committed to developing authentic leaders in healthcare. She offers pro-bono coaching services to rising female leaders in an effort to advance young women in leadership positions. Dr. Sherman holds a dual degree in Biology and Spanish and a minor in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University, and completed her medical training at the Medical College of Virginia. In addition to her medical studies, she received her MBA from The Wharton School, where she focused on finance and strategic management.
