Roma McCaig WG16
Roma McCaig WG16 brings more than 25 years of corporate responsibility, strategy and operations, and communications experience to her role at Clif Bar & Company. Upon joining the Clif Bar executive leadership team in 2021, Roma built the Impact and Communications function, where she oversees the company’s integrated sustainability, community, and communications strategy to align with the company’s Five Aspirations business model and 2030 Growth Game Plan. With a passion for integrating purpose into company strategy and operations, Roma is a frequent speaker on environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics and currently sits on the board of B Lab U.S. and Canada. McCaig joined Clif Bar from Campbell Soup Company, where she served as vice president of corporate responsibility and sustainability, following other senior roles in shared service operations and procurement at the company. Roma’s work at Campbell included architecting the company’s first ESG strategy focused on 14 key issue action areas designed to enhance business performance, energize employees, support the company brand, and ultimately drive positive societal impact. Before joining Campbell, Roma spent 17 years in the San Francisco Bay Area in progressively advancing leadership roles across business operations and communications at Uber Technologies, Citrix Systems, Kaiser Permanente, The Clorox Company, and Bechtel Corporation. Roma earned her Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Tennessee.
