About the hosts:

Alissa Finerman WG98

Alissa Finerman is an Executive Coach, Gallup Certified Strengths® Coach, facilitator, VC/Angel Investor and author of the book, "Living in Your Top 1%."​ She works with teams, executives, managers, entrepreneurs and VC firms to help them develop leaders. Alissa holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley. She received her coach training from New York University, Results Coaching and Gallup Strengths Coaching Program.

Alissa's business background includes ten years in finance at Credit Suisse, a top-tier global investment bank; IPC, a former Goldman Sachs portfolio company serving the financial industry; Guggenheim Capital, a boutique investment management firm and five years in commercial real estate.

Alissa was an All-American tennis player at the University of California, Berkeley and competed on the Women's Professional Tennis Tour (ranked #202 in Doubles). She has been ranked No. 1 in the USTA National Women's Doubles in various age groups.

Mayanka Melville WG07

Mayanka Melville is a Director at Capital Group, an investment management firm with $2.6 T in assets.  She has previously held leadership roles in quantitative research, product development, operations and client service at Capital.  Early in her career she was part of the Digital Strategy leadership team at Deloitte Consulting.  Mayanka holds a BTech degree from IIT-Bombay, an MBA from the Wharton School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.  Mayanka is an active volunteer in her community and serves on the Board of Directors for Peace over Violence (peaceoverviolence.org) and on the Program Committee for Chrysalis (changelives.org).  


Gwen Goldbloom G'99 WG99

Gwen Goldbloom has more than 15 years’ experience in the television and digital media, most recently as Vice President, Global Marketing for Fox 21 Television Studios (previously an independent production studio within 20th Century Fox Television), which was dedicated to making creatively ambitious scripted series for cable and streaming platforms. The studio’s award-winning and critically-acclaimed series include The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story (FX), Homeland (Showtime), POSE (FX), The Americans (FX), Sons of Anarchy (FX), Burn Notice (USA) and White Collar (USA).

As head of studio marketing, Gwen was responsible for managing the marketing and promotion of Fox 21’s shows across multiple distribution channels and platforms – Home Entertainment, SVOD, Consumer Products, and International TV Distribution – with the goal to generate awareness, drive incremental revenue and build long-term brand value for the shows.

Prior to Fox 21, Gwen served as Digital Executive Producer at both Electus and Generate, two digital studios that were among the pioneering companies creating professionally-produced, original online content. Prior to Generate, Gwen managed partner relations at AOL Television, working with all the TV Studios and Networks to promote their shows on AOL.

Gwen received her BA in Russian Studies from UCLA summa cum laude, and joint degrees from The Wharton School (MBA) and The Lauder Institute (MA, International Business and Russian).


Wayne Hao WG11

Wayne Hao is a Wharton MBA WG11 with a venture capital and investment banking skillset combined with a deep career focus on new opportunity development; 20+ years of global experience in finance, business development, and entrepreneurship. Wayne is currently the Head of China for CRAVE Global, an entertainment company that invests in building brands for Western celebrities in the China market.
