The Wharton Club of Southern California invites member and non-member Wharton Alumni to attend our first 2022 WhartonSoCal Happy Hour on the Westside.
Venue: Third Street Promenade California Bistro – Wharton Alumni Owned
We are especially excited as the happy hour venue is a Wharton alumni owned, stylish California café/bar/bistro right in the heart of Third Street Promenade, a few minutes’ walk from the beach. We are truly lucky to have such a great venue for our event, please come out, enjoy the scene, and meet fellow WhartonSoCal alumni!
Premium Shochu Tasting
We will be featuring a shochu tasting delivered by the founder of premium Japanese spirits brand, Nankai Shochu. Nankai’s founder, Paul Nakayama, will be guiding happy hour attendees through the intricacies that set shochu apart from similar spirits such as sake and soju, and why Nankai is among the best.
Did you know that shochu has outsold sake in Japan for over 10 years? Neither did we! Come to the happy hour to learn more.
